More dishcloths.....

Here is some more dishcloths I v done this last week.

Have also made a diagonal lined one which I ll add pictures of as soon as I v made a couple more.

promise me shawl

Here is my shawl, it still needs blocking though.

Just done with a pink fuzzy hat for my friend....

Just done knitting this.....

For my friend Karin who wanted a knitted hat but if she started on her own she would probably done in 2050.lol

It just needs a soak and a gentle blocking.

Finished with a waffel knit dish cloth

Only took me two days, you could do it in a day I m sure if you have more knitting time...or knit faster than me.

I have used one thread baby alpaca and one silk mohair so it should be nice and warm with a lovely halo.

Promise me shawl, should I do the edge in a darker silver??????

I v ran out of yarn , I v used katia kiss 054 and I wonder if I should use 056 as the last wrong side row and picot bind off ???

Or will it look weird ??

This pattern has certainly caused me a lot of headache but it should look pretty darn awsome finished and blocked.

starting my second promise me by boo shawl...

Its in this stunning colour from dibadu funnies, weitesland is the colour way, the colours is so rich and georgeus!!!!

I m sorry but I dont know how to to turn the photos but this is just the very start... I started knitting just the other day....

Nearly done with promise me by boo, a lovely shawl.

I ran out of tarn for the two  last rows so the picture is still with needles ,safety lines and stitchmarkers.
I will add a new picture once its finished and blocked.

I used katia fabula in colour way 93, lovely chunky yarn for this kind of project.

Has taken me ages but only because I ran out of yarn, this does take quite a but of yarn....

Katia fabula has short yardage though but I still recomend it.

 

 

 

Dishcloth in cotton

This is a dishcloth in crochet, just normal basic stitch, single crochets, made in Katia big cotton.

Its a very nice, very thick stretchy cotton yarn; I think I used hook number 9.

I got some lovely yarn in the post yesterday..........

I bought some unloved yarn via Ravelry and its so beautiful  cant wait to knit with it.

 

Its a stunning colour isn't it, its Simply Knit from Dibadu
colorway is “weites Land”.  

 

I was also so lucky that Sabine(who I bought this lovely yarn from) that she also gave me two mini skeins ; the red is Posh yarn Jeannie and the green yarn is wollmeise pure.
Its even more stunning in real life and I m so grateful Sabine gave me these as I v never seen or touched or smelled ; yes when you are a yarn addict/knitting addict then that is what you do.LOL

Childrens sweater in size 2/3 y old

 

 

 

This is a plane, basic easy children's sweater in size 2/3 y old but I think it may be 3/4 y old.
Its knitted in 4 pieces( front ,back, arms) and sewn together and its alpaca yarn.
One is the Viking Eco alpaca yarn and the other I believe its fairytale but you can use any similar yarns.

 

I used size 7mm needles on this and I made the back slightly longer than the front.
Now I m just so curious to know if the recipient likes it..............
So Aleisha ; I worked hard on your sweater so I hope you like it and that your mummy will wash it accordingly to my instructions which is HAND WASH.
Sorry about that, will knit an easy washable one later :)

I received this from a ravelry swop, It came all the way from Canada.
I absolutely loved it and when I get back to Norway I m gonna see what lovelie I can knit from the georgous Alpaca Yarn.

silk scarf in lace.........

My first ever project in all silk and in lace knitting, I used  Jaipur silk fino and the pattern is found FREE on Ravelry, Party lace scarf
