What kind of blog is this? I feel i need to explain this properly once and for all with some recent attention.

OK: Of one reason some people seem to think this a sales blog and its only recently I put this one post up in here to say yes I can make anything you see here if anyone would be interested in buying from me but this is not why I have this blog at all.
I made this blog because I wanted to like many other crafters share and get input and advice on the things I do make.
That is actually the only reason why I made this blog.
I didnt make it because I had to tell people all of a sudden that I m happy to make some of these things and sell it: Any crafter knows that this hobby is very expensive so I thought maybe I would tell you that if you really did like any of these things i sit and create when I get the urge I thought I d tell you that it is ok to ask.

I have this blog adress as my signature on the forums I m a part of simply because I m hoping to tempt people to come in here and maybe even make a comment if you like anything.
Being a crafter it really means a lot to me to get some feedback on the things I make.
It is so nice to come in here and see Miss X has said " Oh nina,: that card is so cute and I really like X and X" you know, that is my drive , that is what makes me come in here and add my photos I proudly have taken just so I can add it in here so maybe Miss X or Mrs XF has left a nice comment about my last card or the canvas I did last year.
I wonder why of my whole blog which consist of lots opf photos and descriptions on how I have made it and what products I have used which I add only to tell other crafters because I know they might like to know that so they can re create it or use it as an idea of something they will make themselves.
I dont tell people I used for example a prima flower, a docraft button and bow and a paper from bobunny to advertise those products: Its added because other crafters will most likely would want to know that kind of information and its done in 99% of other craft blogs.
I would like to continue using my blog adress in my signatures as that is one of the few ways I can tell others I actually have a blog to showcase my things but it seems like I might have to remove my prevous post which is really a shame.
I dont know how to in corporate that information on my blog other than how I did it which was making a post about it.
I dont want to have this as a sales blog at all: If I want to make things purely for the purpose of selling it I will make a SALES BLOG: this will always be a SHOW AND TELL KIND OF A BLOG.

(And no I am not screaming since I used big letters I just wanted to make a point ok)

Well one thing I have to make clear even though i v put this post up saying I can make any card you want if you choose to purchase that from me I must make it clear that this is not a sales blog.
I v created this blog purely because I want to share what I make with other crafters.

Well yes i do make my handmade cards for sale .......
I can make handmade cards, as easy or plane you would like it or as complicated and blingy as your heart desires....

I can make single cards or i can make sets...

I make little paper baskets too which you can fill with what ever you want...If you look in the blog you will see ideas of what i have done and i can make them christmassy or even for Easter or a wedding, that is all up to you.

I love making things and it is so nice to hear if people like it so i would truly appreciate it if you would leave some comments, honestly you don't know how much it means to me when i see someone has opted to follow my blog or leave a comment or more.

I don't have a set price on my things but would agree one with you and it would all depend on how complicated it is and if you want a lot of "fancy" decor on it, i often use flowers, lace and diamonds and pearls on them but you can of course choose what ever you want on it.
It does cost a little bit more buying my cards than getting one in the book shop but you will get something very special and you can get it personalised and make it really suit the person you will be giving it too.
It will truly be a unique item you are getting.

I also make decorated canvases and you can choose if you want and "arty" one with me using my papers and other things like rubber stamping: i can do friendship ones or love ones or even something that tickles your funnybone.

OR i can make one with the possibility to add a photo.

If you choose the last option you can opt for sending me the photo you want on it with instructions on how you would like it as well as colour choice or i can make it ready for you too add the photo yourself.... All i need to know is the size of the photo you want to add. i will then supply you with what you need to attach it yourself, though it will be a bit different from the way i do it and i can not promise it will stay on it for as long mine would.

Don't get me wrong it wont fall off after a few weeks but i have other means to make it stay on than what i am capable to send you.

If you are a member at LHC i will give a slight discount..I mean i wont be making any money on this hobby lets face it ,lol but i do hope to make it cover most of my expenses on what i make.

We can agree on a price or i will be willing to swop for hair toys, anything is interesting but that is something we have to agree on before i start making anything.

That also goes for the price if you opt for paying.

And this is not because i don't trust you but i will ask for 50% before i start making anything and then the rest of it when you have received the card or what i am making.

This might change though , i might choose later on to get it all pre payed and even if you decide you dont like the card i will still need to get payed for my time and supplies on it.

If i can use it myself for something else i will only charge you 50%.

EASEL CARD WITH A TINY CALENDAR ATTACHED

Its very clever as you can keep the card out, it serves more than one purpose.I guess when you receive a card it normally ends up in a drawer somewhere but since this has this little calendar on its a lot nicer to keep it out maybe on a shelf, ontop of an open fire or somewhere else you display nicknacks and other objects.
I abselutely love the paper i have use, i bought a 12 x12 pack at hobbycraft, i cant remember the name but i can find out and add that information later.
Also this 60s tilda i think shes called i have been wanting for ages and its just recently i found it on ebay so i ordered this one and 2 others but i havent used them yet.
If your wondering where i get my personals rubberstamps from that is ofcourse on ebay too, as far as i know its not many who does it and especially not as reasonable priced, if i remember correctly he is called "longchai" or something like that anyway and i highly recomend him, i have bought severeal rubberstamps of him and they are always really great.
The butterfly is from the EK butterfly punch and the flowers are ebay flowers from wild orchid crafts: they have lots of awsome flowers in every size and colour, they also have their own website.

All papers on the card is bought in Uk, at my local craft shop,the swirl is prima i think, the rubbertsamp on the front i have no idea, i got it in a card swop.

The rubberstamp on the inside i bought at hobbycraft, the shapes i belive is mariannes or spellbinders but since i dont have a die cut machine at the moment i bought them on ebay.

This is a picture Frame i bought at Hobbycraft in Maidstone.Kent.UK, lucky me found it in a sale basket, a pitty it was the only one as it was really fun to make, it came with a bit of paper too so i used the paper included aswell as some of my own personal paper and stash, the picture inside it is of me and my darling Steve, its taken recently in a friends wedding.

This is a circle shaped canvas, i added this really nice decorating paper in this funny shape, the picture doesnt do it justise cause it is abeslutely amazing in real life.

The butterflies is en EK punch, most of the flowers are prima and the rest is things i have just gotten in the mail in swops

i love making this box for pretty much everything as you can

fill it with so many different things.

Since this was a wedding gift i wanted to make it a bit romantic so thats why i added the wine glasses, some pink champagne and chocolate, and the naugthy gift which was marsmellows to dip in liquid chocolate .

It was a very popular wedding gift!!!

A little box filled with sweing suplies i thought needed a new look, papers are bought from hobby craft, lace from portugal, buttons from a swap and flowers are from ebay.

Frame bought from hobbycraft, painted with anitique silver paint, stamped with ordinary ink, flowers from ebay

Same as above. butterfly is a tonic punch bought from hobbycraft

Same as above, big pink flower is from prima, rest from ebay.

suplies same as all above. rubbertstamp is 60s magnolia tilda, the sweet jar stamp i have no idea where i got.

Suplies from hobbycraft, the larger flowers are prima flowers( not the big lilac one, i go, buttons i received from a swap)

Same as above really, the magnolia Tilda stamps i had from before, the oval shape with the writing on the box and the sikk sakk frame is fom ebay(due to not having a die cut system currently where i am.)
the large fabric flowers and some of the others are from prima, aswell as the pearl swirl. other flowers are from ebay, think the shop is called thai4u or something but if anyone would like to know ask me and i can find the exact name for you.

The boxes is old mash or gravy boxes which i have tried to wash gently to get remaing granules out aswell as the smell , the smell is still there kind off so if anyone has a good idea to get the smell out from tins/ cans/boxes you can not wash i will be very greatful.
This is it for now, i will add more pictures of my xmas cards and so on as soon as i can.

I know that its been so quiet here and i know i haven't even added any pictures but its not that many who reads this blog anyway, unfortunately.
If i knew there was ppl reading it that actually enjoyed to see what i make and put in here i m sure i would try and update it a lot more but if i m going to do that you guys has to actually leave me a comment once in a while so i see there is an interest,
I will add some photos as soon as i have taken some, it has happened so much to me lately i haven't had the chance too even if i wanted too anyway.

Take a look in your desk drawer… half full of pens, right? How about your “junk” drawer, glove box, garage workbench, briefcase or purse? You probably have a few dozen extra pens. Don’t like the way a pen writes – don’t throw it away!

Mention Pens For Kids at your church, gym, school, local coffee shop etc. Talk about it with your neighbors and relatives. Let your colleagues, co-workers, and supervisors know what you are doing. Ask if they have extra pens. Has your company or business recently changed logos? How about promotional pens from vendors, sales or account representatives?

I did promise you guys that i would do something different than a blog candy but you will just have to cope with one more.

I made one just before i left Norway to spend 5 weeks in portugal and that one was to give to Marit; the worlds most amazing friend and unique cat sitter.

Also i made one for my Portugise friend Carla; it was really nice to see her suprised face when she got this; she really did not expect me to give her something so it was a real pleasure to brighten up her day.
In Carla`s basket i put some chocolate to as you is a passionate chocolate freak.lol.

The 2 last ones i made for my ""sister/ /slash" bestfriend(Renate)"" so we could give it as a joint xmas present from the 2 of us + my mother to give Renates bf sister and mother and they loved the baskets aswell.

The best thing however was the fun of making them, i loved every second of it and i will sgow you a photo of all the 4 different baskets.

I think i m gonna do something nice for the 4 nice ppl that are listet as my followers

Well just because i see there are some ppl, not that many really that follows and/or read my blog so if you can be so nice and email me with your real names and contact info and also if you can be so sweet and let me know if you are scrapbookers/cardmakers or not that would be amazing.

If You do i will make sure you get an extra treat from me just because you are nice and follows my blog and i want to show you that is very much appreciated.

I also hope , if its not to much to ask for and that is please recomend my blog to your friends too, i know many blogs are more active than mine but i do still hope you enjoy what i do put on here.

I would probably write so much more on here if i didnt have my arm injery to struggle with but i try to make up for it with some nice photos.

I am going to add some photos from my recent Portugal holiday soon, also i am re doing and organizing my bedroom slash craft space so if you have any great organizing tips i will be so happy cause i need that so much.

I really want a nice bedroom but with some space to keep my craft stash(which is way way to much)( If you know of a nice charity that will need some of my stuff and put it too good use plz let me know)

I think its really difficult to keep things neat and tidy and organized but i am sure loads of you ppl out there struggle with the same thing.

Well everyone is having blog candys so i m thinking i should have one too but i have no way of sending anything out before christmas since i m going to be spending christmas in sunny Portugal.

So i m thinking the one that writes the 50th comment, better settle at 50 since so little people are coming here unfortentately but i will do a bigger one when i have a 100 comments ok.
I will make it a suprise what the blog candy is and i will make it a criteria that the comment must be atleast 2 whole sentences with something nice and sensible to say.

My very first cirkle skirts; i didnt use any pattern but i can however show you how i did the folding to how i cut it out when i make the next ones.
I only pretty much took my fabric and folded it in 4 then cut a small bit of in the corner which would be the waist "hole" and then i runded it like a circle should be but i can take more photos of that process when i make more as they have asked for Betty Boop skirts which i m about to make but i only just finished making them new gymbags last night,lol

Quilting, my new "thing" at the moment; OMG its difficult!

I have started quilting, i have a whole list of quilts i d like to do but its really hard even the simplest things like lining things up so the seems matches and so on.
I will add proper pictures as soon as i get some uploaded but i have some technical issues that needs solving first.
You will just have to imagine how the first will look like, its for a little baby and the colours are green, blue, white and and a pattern with monsters on,lol

Well now i am finally back, well i have been at home for a while but i came home from holiday in Portugal ill and with a broken leg.

We had a great first couple of weeks, we lived about half an hour from Portimao (Algarve ) in a place called Casais, closest "village" was called monchique so we were way up in the mountains,lol, we even felt a blast of hurricane ike since we were near the coast too.
I have lots of nice photos to show you from the first and best weeks but also pictures from when i didnt feel too good; imagine going away too feel better, getting hot stone mssages and having treatments in this really special water, just do a google on the water in Caldes de monchique.
Th treatments i had before i got ill was amazing and i really felt a difference to my body after being in that water.
I do belive in most countries you can get the hot stone massage and even if it is pricy in your country it is worth the saving up to have it done; you will deffo feel like a new person after.

The bad bit happened when i was going in the tiny tiny village store to get milk and i had 2 walk through the village bar and it was this tiny step down which i didnt see ; everyone has asked me if i had drink or 3 in the before going into the store but no i did not i was just knackered after a day out and the ppl who saw me fell belives i fainted rather than just slip soooooooooo boom there i got a nice(NOT) trip to the hospital where i met the doctor from well a place not to be mentioned......................... and not 2 mention after having xrays and so on he put a bandage on and we went home with no instruction just few hundred euros poorer.......

A few days after the foot got worse and worse so we went down to the hospital and a doctor looked at saying,, here is something very wrong so after a new round with x rays and so on( no one asked if that was what i wanted; infact no one asked me if i was ok with anything they just did what ever thay wanted not caring about what i wanted.
But anyway then they found out the foot was infact broken and i needed a cast but i could not get the normal full on cast since i was flying home to Norway the week after.
Just imagine all this, we had more problems than i can even manage 2 sit down and write as i will never ever finish but the worst for me was that the first doctor who looked at me ignored me and what i said but also didnt see my foot was broken and made evrything worse for me since he did not do his job right. OMG i say
I will leave you with some photis and i will carry on telling you more ; i just need a bit of rest on my right arm( the one i have several old fractures in my elbow)

Yup thats rite, i m going the 12 of august and will be staying to september 13th; funnily enough i m coming home the day be4 my big birthday and i m passed 29 to say that,lol.

On friday(30/05.08) i went to class at Papertrends, one of my fave scrapbooking stores, they are just amazing, they help and they stratch really far to get you what you want or need.
Also they have reguarly classes and scrap evenings which is so much fun.
I have been to 2 classes, one where we did clearalbums and this last one where you mixed funk and vintage. so i thought i should show you the 3 LO i did.

This my very first ATC card, i used a corner punch and then sum Tim Holtz distress ink to make it look older;the pink cardstock is bazill , the whit ish one i can not remember but i have bought it at Papertrends in oslo.
I also used sum lace and brads and a sticker i had as a leftover.
Hopefully you all like at as my first atempt at this.

I just had to try out my new prismas when they came in the post today, i can see i need loads more practise to use them.
I m not happy with the result to be honest and if it wasnt for the fact i want advice to how to improve my technique on this i would never have posted these photos,lol
I promise i will take any critique postively and will continue to test these pencils out as they are to pricy to stay in a drawer i think.
The pregnant magnolia i have coloured are going to be a part of a card i m going to make for a friend i just got told are pregnant with her 4th child.
I will use any excuse i have to send a card,lol

in, i have ribbons on those old wooden clothes pins in one drawer, alchol ink in another and buttons in some others.
This is the small drawers which i keep at my desk, atleast for now i might move it later.
Behind it is one of those boards where you can write and put magnets on and i m not sure how to make a use of that; however if you have any ideas plz leave me a comment.
I have 2 or 3 more of these but i havent had time to re do them but i will, they are great to keep stuff

This is my space in the livingroom so its pretty limited but i guess its better than having to create in a closet,lol
Its not totally done, i m still trying to decide where everything should go and stuff, i bought the ikea desk "Mikael" used but it was in great shape so i saved lots of money on that and that i love the desk, also from ikea i got this little trolley where i keep my cuttlebug amongst other things.
It is a great litte storage item.
Like a decade ago i got some other small storage drawers from ikea but i was bored by the colour and didnt really know what to use them for but i have re decored them now and am slowly making ause for them, in the same way i re decorated them i also did some other storage units which i guess was some kind of office furniture but i got them from my local charity shop and again saved some money which is a short coming at my house.
Anyway i painted them in a soft light color, its not all white but got a capuchino edge to it, its called Provance of some reason,lol

After that i cut out lots of circles using my cuttlebug, i had some really cool napkins i wanted to use and i used the decopage technique for that but as a finishing touch i added a layer with floor varnish so i was sure it would keep for a long time without getting lots of bumps and scratses on it.
When i put on the circles to the items i used proper decopage glue and such which i bought at Panduros.
I am thrilled with the result, it looks really cool i think,

since i had my accident i havent managed to finish any knitting or crocheting objects and belive me i v got plenty; maybe i can get a little help from my mother and give it a new life as a pillow case.
What you think about that? It is made of alpakka yarn which is really soft so i bet it will be warm,soft and cuddly.

Crocheting

I used to crochet and knit before i fell of my horse in september 2006 but i hurt myself very bad including breaking my arm in three places which have needed several operations.
I wish i could do this now but at the moment i cant possibly manage to as it hurts more than enough doing the papercrafting but it is easier to do as i can use my left hand a lot more.
The three first photos are done by using an old crocheting technique called Tunisian crocheting and i loved doing it so i got lots of these and the granny squares which in the end are ment to be a big blanket.

Well ours really as i share all the animals with my best friend in the world Renate, i wish everyone was so lucky to have a friend like that but by all means she got her loopy sides but i love her.
We started with getting one cat from the RSPCA here in Norway better known as "dyrebeskyttelsen",we dont know much about her really but we know she had a hard life before she came to us and then she was about a 10 months to a year but she was beautiful and we fell inlove instantly.
We had her for about 3 weeks and she was starting to trust us more and more but then one night we couldnt see her anywhere and we really freaked out.
After a little bit we saw my bedroom window had a tiny gap and i mean tiny but she had obviusly had managed to get out that way, so then it was about 10 awful days where we put up posters everywhere and we advertised in the paper and on the internet with no luck, no one answered and we were just heartbroken really, we had my bedroom window open 24/7 just incase she came home on her own and imagine what........one night really late she did and you can imagine our joy, i dont tink i ever got on my feet so quick to go and close the window,lol and we gave her food and water and there was even a bowl with fish ready standing near my window in hope that she would smell it.
We were so happy and even though it was really late we had to call my mother in pure joy and we annonced it all over over the net that she was back home.
But guess our little kitty cat must have met a lovely man on her trip in freedom,lol as after about 9 weeks a little miracle was born and we named her Sunny Hope as she was born on a sunny day.
So now we have two cats living a happy spoiled life.

we can start with the oldest resident which is Rambo, he is a black velvet and a right old grandad,lol but he is a sweetheart.

Then we have litchie, shes a beige and a very unique caracter,she has very special meanings on who she likes and dont like and she is the best at making herself look sweet so she can get a treat.

We also got Hera and shes known as the “barker” cause shes a right little guard dog that barks if you get to close, on the other hand she does not mind if you let her climb onto your hands so she can catch a ride with you out to freedom which is the bathroom for the chins, that is the place where they can run and play safely which is very important to me.

then we have Chantel, shes a black & white and the newest of the bunch, she is at the moment considering getting herself a husband hi hi, she is the youngest and the most energetic chin i have ever seen, shes a total nutcase, she eats on everything and as soon as you even try to open the cage she is there and on her way out and more than once she has managed it so its chin chase for her mummies,lol

Skiddy widdy is a darling shy boy and he was the grand father to our now gone Tellus Ozzy,R.I.P ozzy we miss you dearly.
Skiddy is named after a friend of mine as his daughter used to call him skiddy widdy pants when she was a baby, we figured skiddy was a more fun name than Tellus O maley which was his “birthname”
Skiddy is the most calm of the lot but enjoys a cuddle too. R.iP skiddy, i do miss you so much

Last (sort of) we have “Babe”, she is what we call the big bum in the house cause she definetly got a big bum,lol . but she is stunning but has her very weird habbits and is it something she hates its being groomed.
I said last but we have another 2 chins which i really gave to my “baby sister” but due to some family circumstances i had to take them back so they are currently living with my mother and she enjoys the company.
My mother has “destiny” and my first born chin “Jasmine!” staying there and they are TOV violet and brown velvet of colour, both cute chinnies and love like they all to get sweets and TLC.
So there are the chins introduced, next time i will tell you all about the cats who rule this house.lol

This is so scary, honest, i havent done this before and i really want it to be cool and look good so you guys have to bare with me and remember i m just a starter.’I tried writing a little about me but have no idea where that went,lol

Also i m going to try to write an introduction on my animals so they will have theire space here, animals or zoo as we call it is chins and cats, possibly a bunny,lol
